Alexandra Paula

Alexandra Paula Wells is a photographer with an eye for detail and storytelling. Through documentary and art-based practices, she strives to use photography to capture small moments, genuine people, and wondrous places throughout the GTA and around the world. In this series, Alexandra focuses on her maternal roots and Azorean heritage. With a strong emphasis on familial tradition and the value of both physical and cultural heirlooms, she explores her connection to previous generations and how they have had a ripple effect on her life and identity.
