Dan Dorio is a still life photographer based in Toronto. With a background in merchandising and staging, Dan takes a layered approach to photography and his work is as much about the process as it is about the end result. For his series, Sticky Fruit, Dan used precise and controlled lighting in studio to create sculptural still life images of modified fruit suspended in the air. The unified formation of the arrangements gives life to the objects, almost as if they were performing on stage.
