Based in the GTA, Julia Macneil is inspired by experiences of human connection. Her work offers an insight into her encounters growing up amidst endless visual commotion. Drawing inspiration from visual novels and comic books, Julia incorporates vivid narratives and storytelling in her photography. She seeks to make meaningful relationships through her portraits and other experimental works.
