Laura is a Toronto-based fashion, portraiture, fine art, and advertising photographer. Once Upon a Time is about creating a child’s fantasy reality, emphasizing how fairytales and movies have a hold on us growing up and shape certain characteristics of who we become as adults. The images are composites that include movie scenes shot on a television screen from Alice in Wonderland and portraits of a child model to place into the scene.
