Leo Kalverda was born in Southern Ontario and has recently relocated to Halifax, Nova Scotia. In this recent project, he explores the landscape and geology of his new home province by photographing rocks and stones on site. Part of a larger and ongoing series, these images combine Leo’s fascination with rocks and stones with his love of mixing natural and artificial lighting.
