Nolan Brinson

Nolan Brinson is a GTA-based documentary and editorial photographer. His old soul and obsession with all things retro bridge the gap between youthful, contemporary photographic practice and the nostalgic visual language and storytelling strategies of the recent past.

One of the images presented here is part of an ongoing body of work that explores the challenges connected to both fragile and brute masculinity in the trades and the effects this has on mental health awareness and acceptance. He aims to challenge and question contemporary masculinity through this work, while visually exploring the personal, physical, and mental sacrifices commonly made within this setting.
