Sahar Rana is a fashion and portrait photographer who explores visual maximalism. As the polar opposite of minimalism, the goal in this series is over-simulation of texture, colour, and pattern. To engage the viewer’s eyes across the frame, Sahar is intentional with details such as set design and styling, thus the models become a character merged into their environment.
