This series of images, part of a larger narrative entitled Insipid, explores the idea of a dying love held together by the constraints of routine and an inability to let go. Young love turned quickly to naive elopement, a relationship built on fear of change, comfort in the familiar and a sense of dependency on one another. This story follows the pair through a typically routine day of errands, meals and habits that have become an unquestioned and unspoken pattern. This monotonous lifestyle deepens as time goes on.
