Yianni Poulis is a commercial photographer living in the heart of Toronto with his two parrots. He specializes in product and portraiture photography. His work has been described as stylized, clean, and highly technical. The series, Symbols, is a modern and minimal approach to product photography. Yianni wanted to create a series that was unusual for beauty products. Finding inspiration in something as simple and unrelated as ascii characters, he created a minimalist and unconventional approach to lipstick advertisements.
