Alex Hildebrand

In Ancient Rome, the Roman Empire used symbols to introduce a false sense of authority; the ‘Corporate Empire’ of today does the same. The work explores the ubiquity of corporation and how it affects our landscapes in both a metaphorical and literal sense. The aim is to initially disorient the viewer, perhaps evoke a feeling of discomfort, leading the viewer to think critically about today’s corporate landscape.
