Emily Donahue

Emily Donahue is a Toronto-based photographer who specializes in documentary and lifestyle work. Fascinated by the beauty in everyday life, she is interested in capturing hidden moments.

Work on this spread comes from Emily’s thesis project, flotsam and jetsam. This documentary project expresses her interest in the interaction between “person” and “world.” Her series documents the homes and intimate scenes of total strangers; it presents an interesting perspective as both a photographer and an outside viewer into the ways in which we live our lives.
