This photograph seeks to touch a story involved with its teller. Although unremarkable, it holds what remains of a story: the relics of narrative, the atmosphere of the story’s setting, and the storyteller who has changed as a result.
The accompanying book personifies the journey of creating the work. By establishing a connection with that which is constantly in motion, not always visible, yet always present, the book attempts to formulate a relationship. The act of chasing the moon is ultimately futile. However, by documenting what exists both within and beyond a personal narrative, a question arises: What will fade over time and what will continue to exist?
